Local Authorities have a statutory duty to secure sufficient childcare, so far as is reasonably practicable, for working parents/carers, or parents/carers who are studying or training for employment, for children aged 0-14 (or up to 25 for SEND children), and in particular the provision of places under the Governments Free Early Education Entitlement (FEEE) scheme for eligible 9months old to 4years old.

Our statutory duty is to undertake an annual Childcare Sufficiency Assessment (CSA). This assists the LA in understanding where we have available places and can signpost families who require places to your childcare setting/school, it will also assist providers with their business planning.

Information that we obtain as part of the CSA will be anonymised and contain a range of information that should assist you with business planning for your childcare setting/school provision.

This survey should only take around 20 minutes to complete.

We thank you for your assistance
