Local Authorities have a statutory duty to secure sufficient childcare, so far as is reasonably practicable, for working parents/carers, or parents/carers who are studying or training for employment, for children aged 0-14 (or up to 25 for SEND children).
Our statutory duty is to undertake an annual Childcare Sufficiency Assessment (CSA). This assists the LA in understanding where we have available places and can signpost families who require places to your childcare setting/school, it will also assist providers with their business planning.
Information that we obtain as part of the CSA will be anonymised and contain a range of information that should assist you with business planning for your wraparound provision.
We are requesting your assistance to complete the following questionnaire that informs the CSA.
This survey should only take around 15 minutes to complete.
We thank you for your assistance.
